Our Goal!

The Student Council met yesterday and set a goal of 1000 items to collect for these families. We will begin our collection on Monday, December 3 and finish on Friday, December 21. Each school day we will post what we have collected and what we still need. In our caffeteria we will post a visual for the students to show them where we are at with our count. If we reach our goal before the last day, the Student Council will decide on an appropriate celebration. Please help us to reach this goal!

First Things First

First, pray that our efforts for theses families and individuals will be helpful and God pleasing. Nothing will succeed without God's approval. "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22

Second, consider those things that God has given to you and share them cheerfully. God has wonderfully blessed us so that we might show those blessings to others. "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

Third, look at the list of items and decide what you can provide. Check back often to see our progress and to see if there is something else that you can do. "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed." Proverbs 19:17
